It's December, which means winter-themed spirits to lift your holiday spirits!
It hasn't been too cold in Denver yet, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a nice cup of hot cocoa, spiked of course!
Peppermint schnapps and hot cocoa is a well-known combination, but for a little extra kick, use some tequila too!
1 oz Tequila
1/2 oz Peppermint schnapps
8 oz hot cocoa (made with milk)
Depending on how strong you like your chocolate, you may need to add more schnapps to bring out that peppermint flavor. And of course don't forget the mini marshmallows!
